On Friday 5th of June our class sold over 300 cups of hot chocolate for $2.00 each . Altogether we made $551.50 profit . About 600 children aged 5 to 11 bought a hot chocolate each. We took shifts starting at 1:00pm to about 1:45pm. Each shift was 15 minutes long. We were stunned at how many students turned up to help make a difference. The queue for the hot chocolate was 30 metres long. After, when we were finished we felt proud of what we just did, we realised we helped Kawama basic school in Zambia to buy proper stationary and to help them learn. Last of all we would like to thank all of the Red Beach students who made a difference and some local businesses.

You did really well with your HOT CHOCOLATE stall what an excellent response you got and it was a fantastic learning experience too. Well done to you all Room 12 really enjoyed their delicious drinks. Mrs cornelius
ReplyDeleteI think that our class should do another fundraising thing together. Maybe we could sell icecream, or maybe we could freeze orange juice to make healthy icebloks!
ReplyDeleteYour right jenni are class should do more fundraising but not only for people in Zambia But maybe to different places to. Like charity's and stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteBecause i want to do more to help others and more. Because I'm sure they want to have just as much fun as we do. I think laughter is the best cure.
