This week Room 14 have been really sad to lose their dear classmate Auztin. Here is a tribute we wrote for him to put in the newspaper:
Auztin. 23 June 2009. Auztin was unbelievable, the way he jumped straight into everything without any complaints. He took heaps of risks, like at camp, when he made it to the top of the Giant's Ladder without any help.
At Red Beach School we are proud to develop as Life Long Learners and Auztin was the best role model. He was a selfmotivated learner who persevered in everything in spite of his asthma. He was a great drawer, the Manga champion cartoon drawer at Red Beach School for 2009.
He always made us laugh with his great sense of humour and made up funny nicknames for us all, he wore the craziest hats and had the funniest looks that you couldn't help laughing at. He had a great imagination and dreamt of being either a mediaeval knight, a werewolf or what he truly loved - a 30cm ruler! He was such a creative person and an inspiration to us all in Room 14.
Room 14 will never be the same without your neverfailing smile, your rich heart, your friendship to us all. You will never be forgotten, Auztin. By Room 14 - Red Beach School.

Auztin was an amazing class mate. We all learnt a lot from him. I know it has been a long time now but my thoughts were triggered when I went to starship to see my little sister. His artwork is everywhere there.
ReplyDeleteYou will never be forgotten Auztin.
Its very hard sometimes when one of your friends, family members or just people die and its very hard to move on.
ReplyDeleteI know one thing that Auztin will still be in are hearts and are lives even if he really is not there and he still will be looking down on us at school..... smiling.
Brittany =)
