What would it be like if the world had no friction how would you live?

    well, friction slows us down so it would not help if there was no friction because if someone went parachuting, they would be falling too fast through the air and that would be the end of them.

    We would all live qiute a boreing life nothing well almost nothing would be fun because most things in life are caused by friction we wouldn't of been able to go0 on our ice scarting trip with the hole of Edison we would not of been able to move on the ice no of it would of happened!!!!!!

    if we pushed ourselves we would not be able to stop unless reverse friction is applied.

    Rose,Holly and Dad,
    If we had no friction we would be really fast and cars would be really fast because there would be no resistances between the tier and the road so it would just be smooth and slipry and because of that you could push a car so you could be the strongest perso in the world and lot's of things would be fast.

    if we had no friction it would be really hard to do things for example you couldent do things on the playground because on the flying fox the top of it made it move from friction so you would go really fast and it would be freaky.

    Without friction it would be like living in space with no air or gravity. We would spend most of are time flying in space and it would be really cold.

    If there was no friction it would be awesome because Speed+No grip=Awesome drifting

    The worlds number 1 sport would be drifting

    it would be fun knowing that every corner you'll turn wil make your car goe sideways
    but i suppose it will be hard cos u'll have to learn how to bring it back round!!!

    Without friction the world would be very different, walking would be different because when you put your weight on the foot behind you there would be nothing to stop it sliding and thus falling over. Another disadvantage is that bigger meteor would fall on earth from space because the lack of friction would mean there would be nothing to burn up the meteor and reduce its volume. All sport would be different, probably more boring, example: football, the ball would travel larger distances like ping pong (table tennis). The advantage is the tyres of cars would not wear down. Our life would be miserable.

    It would be hard because we would slide around and cars would go to fast because there was nothing to stop them.It might be fun.

    Without friction some things would never stop moving. That is because movement occurs when forces are imbalanced, and friction is a main force. Climbing a tree would be impossible. Because of all these facts I think friction is a useful force.

    you woudn't be able to go skate boarding and bike or roller blading or ice skating because the friction makes you move a long

    if you ran and slid on your feet you would slide forever unless you hit a wall. wait a minute but the walls will move if you hit it too HARD!!

    it wouldn't be cool because you would keep slipping and slipping and slipping and slipping and slipping and slipping and slipping untill your dead in other words-you wont stop.

    There would be no need for cars every one would be sleding to move around or we would be sort of like penguins and slide around.
